Georgina Mahony

Director and Cofounder

Georgina Mahony brings 20 years of experience in the design and engineering management of the delivery of major infrastructure projects including rail, roads, water treatment and airports.
Her specialisation is the management of integrated engineering and design teams for large multi-discipline infrastructure projects. As part of these roles she has developed wide-ranging skills in stakeholder co-ordination, risk management and project controls. She places strong emphasis on developing a positive team culture, maintaining overall team engagement and delivering project outcomes. She prides herself in working to form truly collaborative teams that cross organisational boundaries and enabling people to undertake their roles successfully

Terry Cotton

Director and Cofounder

Terry Cotton is a highly experienced Engineering Manager with significant experience in both strategic design partnering in the pre-contract cycle and the governance and oversight of the engineering components of tendering and project delivery of Major infrastructure projects.
Terry’s leadership and management capabilities are based on constantly building, up-skilling and developing his engineering and design teams. Understanding each team member’s individual drivers and constraints enables him to structure appropriate mentoring to motivate people to achieve their goals. He is also mindful of developing a team culture that empowers people to perform at peak level, including providing additional training for team members to increase their industry knowledge and challenging team members to exceed targets.

Anthony Butler

Regional Director - NSW

Anthony is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in transport infrastructure, buildings, resources and energy. As Regional Director for Ediom in New South Wales, he is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's projects in the region. Anthony has a demonstrated history of working on significant infrastructure projects. He has an academic background in civil engineering, law, project management and business. He has proven skills in multi-disciplinary design management, project estimation and planning, value and cost engineering, and contract negotiation. He is passionate about delivering successful project outcomes that meet the community's needs, and he leverages the latest digital engineering solutions to achieve this.

Jamie Threader

Delivery Director

Jamie Threader is a highy experienced delivery manager who has a demonstrated track record in all aspects of project delivery within the rail environment. He is driven to continuously grow and thrives on challenging himself in delivery of all aspects of successful teams. His ability to communicate and effect change has allowed him to drive consistent delivery of key performance indicators and continuous improvement within the section of projects and businesses he was responsible for. He has built a strong reputation for the effective implementation of change management and has had great success in using his significant experience to coach and mentor teams for success.

Aaron Miles

Technical Director SESA

Aaron is an experienced and effective Systems Engineering and Integration Delivery Lead with over 20 years of Systems Engineering and Systems Integration experience within defence, rail and road industries, supported by extensive experience in commercial project management and team leadership experience within defence, transportation and utilities. Aaron has successfully lead the delivery of complex systems integration projects and solutions, and has a strong background in establishing key systems, engineering processes and functions. He is highly skilled in developing a cohesive workplace environment and building high performing multi-disciplinary teams in complex commercial environments.

Callum Buck

Senior Engineering Manager

Callum is a qualified Civil Engineer (BEng) and Construction Manager (MSc) with 20 years’ experience, in both Australia and the UK. He has worked as part of various Tier One contractor, client and joint venture teams responsible for the delivery and operations of many significant and multifaceted civil infrastructure projects. These projects have been predominately focused on the introduction of new railway infrastructure, systems and the delivery of associated new rolling stock and the maintenance facilities, yet also include the delivery of major new wind farms, commercial building and significant road and utilities infrastructure.

Susie Struhs

Senior Project Manager

Susie Struhs is a qualified civil engineer with over 16 years’ experience delivering a variety of complex multi-disciplinary projects. She has held key leadership roles working alongside state and local governments, as well as for the private sector on some of the most challenging civil and building projects in Victoria. Susie has finely honed her problem-solving skills with an ability to think outside the box when working with challenging situations. She has an outstanding capacity to work collaboratively with clients and engage project stakeholders and contractors in achieving target aspirations. She will challenge design, specification and industry practice to achieve cost and time savings for the client while ensuring safety and health above all else.

Yan Highland

Engineering Manager

Yan Highland has over 10 years’ experience in the delivery of a wide range of major transport infrastructure and property projects within Victoria in design, project management and delivery. Yan has strong skills in managing teams to deliver integrated designs to scope, budget and programme.. She works with a variety of stakeholders to manage the various inputs and requirements and thrives on working collaboratively with large project teams. She is able to identify and analyse problems and implement more efficient project management systems to enable the successful delivery of projects.

Will Davis

Engineering Manager

Will is an experienced Engineering Manager with 10 years project experience delivering projects in Melbourne and Sydney. His strength is in developing strong personal and professional relationships which assist him in achieving the project desired outcomes. Will has an analytical approach to problems with the ability to offer innovative solutions. Will’s major experience has been on large infrastructure road, rail and defence projects in New South Wales and Victoria, with his specialty being highly congested and trafficked urban projects where stakeholder management is paramount. He has a broad technical knowledge which is adaptable to a wide range project types. Will has a strong focus on bringing together engineering and construction requirements via his expertise.

Fiona Adams

Engineering Manager

Fiona is passionate about operational management, solving issues, building cohesive teams and increasing process efficiencies. With over 10 years’ experience, Fiona’s involvement in the rail industry and safety and risk consulting has enabled her to develop a strong and versatile skill set with a recent focus on Engineering Management. Prior to Ediom, Fiona worked across a variety of roles in ARTC resulting in strong experience in asset management, operational and project delivery. Her development of a positive culture provided improved process efficiencies, increased safety results, strong morale and successful delivery of the annual works programs and major projects. Fiona has significant technical safety experience having completed facilitation of numerous risk assessments, fire safety studies and consequence modelling analysis.
Hazel Balod

Hazel Balod

Engineering Manager

Hazel is a Civil Engineer with 12 years' industry experience in both public and private sectors. With experience in project development, delivery and completions, Hazel encompasses a wide range of interpersonal skills including a strong sense of stakeholder coordination and relationship building skills. Recently, Hazel has worked on the Level Crossings Removal Project where she held a number of roles within the Project Owner, Alliance, and Construction teams, deploying analytical, problem solving and leadership skills to get to the core of complex problems and drive a collaborative approach towards solutions.

Lily Liu

Engineering Coordinator

Lily has over four years’ experience across transport and infrastructure, particularly in project planning, procurement, requirements management, stakeholder interface and the initial stages of project delivery. She has provided advice for both public and private clients in Australia, Hong Kong and South-East Asia.
Lily has developed a robust appreciation for working within a multidisciplinary team and a deep understanding of the inputs and requirements of various disciplines in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Aytekin Yeseren

Engineering Coordinator

Aytekin Yeseren is a highly capable civil engineer with over 4 years’ experience in the delivery of transport and infrastructure projects, particularly in design/engineering management and stakeholder interface. He possesses a comprehensive understanding of the technical elements of engineering in the rail environment. Aytekin works across disciplines to ensure solutions are well integrated, considering the broader project objectives and requirements. Throughout the roles in his career, he has developed a strong understanding of service provider - client relationships and expectation management which in return assisted him in stakeholder co-ordination, risk management and project control activities in the engineering industry.

Bart Spence

Engineering Coordinator

Bart is a passionate rail infrastructure professional working as an integral team member with project delivery authorities such as RPV, Designers and Rail Operators. Bart is and Engineering Co-Ordinator on Geelong Fast Rail for RPV and has been engaged as design lead in the track and civil team on the Metro Tunnel / Sunbury Project, working through the technical interfaces between rail systems and civil infrastructure. His experience working with rail operators in both the project delivery and project interface teams has included operation and maintenance as well as project delivery. Bart thrives on providing public infrastructure solutions that benefit all levels of society. He enjoys working through technical design, coordination, and delivery challenges to land on a solution that provides increased value, optimised safety, and better access to services for all.

James Baker

Engineering Coordinator

James Baker is a qualified Civil Engineer (MEng) with experience working in the UK for the last five years prior to relocating to Australia. Before joining Ediom, James worked as a Section Engineer on the High Speed 2 Main Works Project. His experience on this project included design, site engineering and managing inter-contract construction interfaces. James is a self-motivated individual who enjoys working collaboratively in teams and relishes a challenge. He endeavours to build upon his knowledge and skills with the aim of becoming a chartered member of the Institute of Civil Engineers in the near future.

Adrian Pavlou

Engineering Coordinator

Adrian is a qualified Civil Engineer and recent experience includes engineering coordination on the South East Program Alliance. Prior to joining Ediom, he spent the last 10 years worked in his family business involved in both commercial construction and development, managing not only construction projects from concept through to delivery, but also many aspects of the business. He is flexible, independent and multi - skilled. Adrian’s wide- ranging expertise on both the client and contractor side of projects allows him to successfully lead teams through projects from conception to completion

Polina Morozova

Engineering Coordinator

Polina has 10 years of experience in engineering consulting and project development and delivery. She has undertaken several different roles within large transport infrastructure and mining engineering teams, including business operations, project delivery roles and requirements management. Her unique experiences in a range of roles nationally provide her with the ability to understand and solve complex project and operational issues.
Polina is a detail-oriented professional, with a sound understanding of the engineering design delivery process during both the tender phase and the delivery phase of projects.

Peter Shanahan

Undergraduate Engineer

Peter is a penultimate year Civil Engineering and Architectural Design student at Monash University. He aims to build upon both the technical and interpersonal skills developed through his course with first-hand experience in Major Infrastructure projects in Melbourne. Peter maintains a curious outlook in every part of a project and provides invaluable assistance to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible. Peter prides himself in quickly understanding a task and completing it efficiently and effectively whilst still contributing to a friendly work environment with his peers. He has developed strong interpersonal skills throughout his involvement in extracurricular clubs at Monash University and social league sports. This contributes to his excellent communication skills and confidence in his work whilst still asking questions to further his learning. Peter thrives within a team environment where he can learn from others and foster his skills as an undergraduate.

Zach Barredo

Graduate Engineer

Zach is a Graduate Civil Engineering student from Monash University. Whilst working with Ediom as an undergraduate he has built technical and stakeholder management skills through first-hand experience in Major Infrastructure projects in Melbourne including roles supporting the engineering management teams on Inland Rail and Melbourne Airport Rail tenders. Maintaining an enthusiastic and can-do attitude, Zach aims to provide assistance to all levels of a project. Zach is personable and astute with proven time management and collaboration skills developed from professional and volunteer engagements.

Paul Michielin

Consultant

Paul brings more than two decades in leadership, engineering management and project management roles in transport infrastructure and construction. Paul’s expertise embraces planning, contract management and developing methodologies that improve safety, quality, environmental outcomes and construction performance, with a focus on digital engineering. Through Paul’s involvement as an Engineering Manager in a number of rail infrastructure projects, he has built a reputation for innovative problem-solving and skilful application of advanced construction methods and BIM processes. Paul’s strengths lie in delivering digital change and introducing improved methods of design management and construction building projects within complex brownfield rail corridors.

Laura Van Niekerk

Laura is an innovative professional with a unique combination of experience in workflow management, stakeholder relations and marketing and communications. She has worked across the FMCG, Arts, Media, and Government Advisory industries and is focused on building relationships, connecting people and has a keen interest in raising brand and profile for individuals and teams. Laura is passionate about engaging in meaningful work, shaping better social outcomes and building relationships that foster trust and mutual enjoyment. She particularly enjoys working in energetic teams that are committed to collaboration and value a good sense of humour.

SESA Manager

Amanda Walton is a Senior Systems Engineer with experience in complex developmental projects, rolling stock and rail infrastructure, technical project management, personnel management, resource and asset management, and performing at optimal capability in high-pressure environments. Amanda possesses high level management, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills and demonstrates astute judgement, problem solving and decision making. Highly motivated, self-starter with an exceptional work ethic, consistently driving positive, productive change and delivering timely results in line with organisational intent. Actively seeks out opportunities for professional development in order to enhance skillsets and technical knowledge.

Naomi is a Senior Systems Safety Engineer with an extensive background in Functional Safety Engineering and Fire and Explosion Safety Engineering. Naomi has an exceptional ability to build relationships and manage deadlines which enables her to effectively run workshops, manage projects, timelines, and stakeholders. Prior to joining Ediom, Naomi had a successful career working for the Maritime Defence Sector where she held senior roles, which enabled her to focus on her management and leadership experience.

Daniel Boyle

Systems Engineer

Daniel is a Mechanical Engineer (MEng) from the University of Leeds and has joined Ediom as a Graduate Systems Engineer. Daniel's early experience in the construction industry, in the UK and Australia, has enabled him to develop strong interpersonal skills whilst working on large civil infrastructure projects, allowing him to build relationships with stakeholders in a dynamic environment. With his core beliefs centred around self-development and continuous improvement, he is eager to expand his knowledge and technical skills. A valued team member and contributor, Daniel aims to provide solutions to clients that deliver on requirements and are focused on value.

His experience in the defence and dairy industries has provided him with strong skills in relationship management, problem-solving and time management. Tamy de Souza

Systems Safety Engineer

Tamy is a highly skilled Systems Engineer with a comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance, acquired through diverse roles responsibilities. She has proven expertise in auditing and developing compliance tools based on AS 15288 and EN 50126 /8/9 demonstrating a deep understanding of the field and the ability to thrive in various Systems Engineering capacities.

Tamy possesses extensive hands-on experience in Requirements Management and RAM, complemented by a strong interest in Safety Engineering. Proficient in understanding stakeholder needs, Tamy leverages emotional intelligence to excel in negotiation, communication, and providing valuable team support.
